It was perfect weather at Santa Anita Race Track, a first for a Gooden School graduation ceremony. A wonderful and historic setting for The Gooden School to celebrate their 8th grade graduates and 45 years of existence.
Head of school Jo-Anne Woolner summarized it well when she said, “This joyful celebration of our 8th graders at Santa Anita is a great way to end a difficult school year!”
Middle School Director Laurie Tortell honored students with award certificates before the class was presented by Cathy Heflin, chair of Gooden’s Board of Trustees.
