Cancer Support Community 25th Annual Angel Gala is April 8

Liz Rusnak Arizmendi

The 25th annual Angel Gala, “Bright Lights, Big City” benefitting Cancer Support Community Pasadena will be held on Saturday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. at downtown Los Angeles’ City Club. The event will feature a reception, dinner, entertainment, silent auction and a live auction. This year’s Angel Award honorees are Liz Rusnak Arizmendi and the Rusnak Auto Group for their generous and consistent support throughout the years.
The event will raise money for Pasadena’s Cancer Support Community, which provides free services to cancer patients and their family members, including professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind-body programs. Funds raised by the annual Angel Gala are a significant source of revenue for Cancer Support Community Pasadena, a nonprofit corporation that touches more than 2,000 people in the greater Pasadena community annually.
“We are all very excited about the event that our co-chairs Kal Balian Anton, Elizabeth Arnett and Dana Rodriquez are planning in another amazing venue,” said CSCP Board President Michael Healy. “The Angel Gala will raise vital funds that enable Cancer Support Community Pasadena to provide free support for people facing cancer, because no one should face cancer alone.”
Approximately 350 guests are expected to attend the 2017 Gala. Ticket cost is $250 per person with all proceeds going directly to CSCP. Tickets will be available for purchase on the Cancer Support Community Pasadena website.
