Community Leaders Speak at Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast

The 46th annual Pasadena Mayor’s Interfaith Prayer Breakfast was held Thursday, May 9, at the Pasadena Convention Center. The event, which was organized this year by Friends in Deed, featured performances from the Eliot Arts jazz band and choir, keynote speaker Caltech President Thomas Rosenbaum and a time of prayer reflecting the various faiths represented in the Pasadena area. Mayor Terry Tornek thanked Friends in Deed for its many years of service in organizing the breakfast and welcomed Melanie Goodyear, executive director of Jericho Road, who will be chairing the event next year.
