Historical Society Hosts Free Talk

First published in the Sept. 3 print issue of the Burbank Leader.

The Burbank Historical Society/Gordon Howard Museum will be hosting a free program on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. It will be all about growing up in Burbank in the 1940s and ‘50s as the daughter of a Disney cartoonist. Those were definitely the Golden Days of the city, as the speaker Renee Paton Farrington will describe.
The Historical Society, which is air conditioned, is located next to the Creative Arts Center, behind the blue Victorian house on Olive with free parking in the lot at 1100 W. Clark.
