La Cañada High School students and their families lugged tools and cleaning supplies to campus recently for the school’s annual spruce-up, known as Servathon. The volunteers performed a variety of tasks, including gardening, cleaning lockers, picking up trash, and scraping gum off concrete and stairwells. Coordinating the activities for the day were co-chairs Jill Chapman and Stuart Chant. LCHS Principal Jim Cartnal and 7/8 Principal Jarrett Gold were put to work as well as PTA President Tamar Tujian.
