Each year during winter break, Flintridge Prep hosts a day for alumni returning home for the holidays. This year it all began with Alumni Sports Day. Alumni from across the decades worked off holiday calories playing flag football, water polo, volleyball and basketball.
This year, there was a decided family feeling. Several alumni returned with their own children, who cheered heartily from the sidelines. Later, the school’s Fathers Club hosted a networking mixer for Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) in the school’s newly remodeled atrium. Parents mingled with their friends’ children as they discussed career paths and summer internship opportunities.
The school hosted five- and 10-year reunions on campus, and the whole alumni body was invited to finish the day with a party in Old Pasadena.
