Four Arrested in San Marino Burglary

Police in Arcadia arrested four people ultimately linked to a San Marino burglary that was reported on June 27.
The four suspects — an 18-year-old Lakewood man and three teenage boys — were arrested by Arcadia police on Saturday, June 29, after being pulled over for a traffic violation and linked to several Arcadia crimes, authorities said. Their vehicle, a green Toyota Avalon sedan with chrome rims and no front license plate, was the same vehicle reported in the San Marino burglary.
A man walking in the 1700 block of Oak Drive at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, said he became suspicious of a man parked in the Avalon outside of a home. The pedestrian said that after he started recording the man on his cellphone’s camera, three other men ran from a home and into the car, which sped off afterward.
Jewelry and an empty safe were reported stolen from the home, which was broken into through the back glass door.
Those with additional information are urged to contact the San Marino Police Department at (626) 300-0700.
