Geranium Society Holds Flower Show, Sale May 13-14

The Geranium Society will hold its annual Show and Sale to show off the beautiful flower and foliage of geraniums and pelargoniums on Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., in Ayres Hall at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, 301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia.
Entrance to the show and sale is free with admission to the Arboretum.
Geraniums and pelargoniums are drought-tolerant, lush, florific and great smelling. At the show, Geranium Society members will have their prize plants on display, showing off the wide variety of colors, textures, scents, shapes, and flowers that the genera has to offer. At the sale, unusual plants — not available at any box store — will be available. Noted nurseries bringing special sale items include: Robin Parer of Geraniaceae, John Schoustra of Greenwood Daylily Gardens, Matt-Dell Tufenkian of Dominus Plantarum, as well as Geranium Society members with their private collections.
