Historic First Lutheran Celebrates 125 Years

Historic First Lutheran invites the community to celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday, April 30, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. R.Z. Meyer of Pacific Palisades as guest preacher. A taco bar will follow worship.
Historic First Lutheran, located at 808 N. Los Robles Ave., is one of the oldest churches in Pasadena and the “Cathedral Ministry or Mother Church” of Lutheranism in North Los Angeles County. Historic First Lutheran has planted daughter churches from Van Nuys to San Bernardino. Meyer served as assistant pastor from 1953-1958.
