Scrubs members, their families and their friends gathered at a festively decorated Pasadena private club for the first Scrubs Holiday Open House. Adults enjoyed food and beverages (blood orange mimosas, chicken and waffles, and a yule log dessert, to name a few) while children worked on Christmas tree ornaments and snow globe crafts. These crafts will adorn the Giving Tree at Huntington Hospital, which Scrubs supports.
Guests also heard the special announcement that Scrubs will be taking on an important project next year. In 2019, it will be raising funds to educate the staff in the Huntington pediatric department about pediatric mental health so it can deliver holistic care, not just physical, when children come to the hospital.
Scrubs is a group of enthusiastic supporters dedicated to safeguarding the future of health and wellness in the region through consistent annual contributions to Huntington Hospital. Founded in 2005, Scrubs is a dynamic and vibrant group whose support has become invaluable.
