Local Pasadena nonprofit, the Institute for Educational Advancement, recently hosted its 20th anniversary celebration in support of its mission to ensure that each gifted child’s specific needs are met in order to reach his or her full intellectual and personal potential.
The evening featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, and dinner and dancing. Live music was performed by IEA students during cocktail hour, and the program included both current student and alumni speakers. Funds raised will support IEA’s programs and services for gifted students and their families, including scholarships.
About 125 guests honored two groups who have been instrumental to the institute’s founding and success, the IEA Senior Fellows (Patricia Gatto-Walden, Stephanie Tolan and Michael Piechowski) and the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation.
