The associates of the Pasadena Keller Williams Realty choose to “Give Where They Live” as part of RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service dedicated to Renewing, Energizing and Donating to their local community.
“RED Day is built on the belief that people can and should come together to achieve extraordinary things to help others,” said Brock Worthen, team leader, Pasadena Keller Williams Realty. For RED Day, Keller Williams spent the day at Washington Middle School, a local public school in Pasadena.
This year they gave more than 240 hours in addition to raising thousands of dollars in donations for the school. The associates performed a variety of tasks from painting, gardening to securing indoor and outdoor furniture. They transformed an old detention room into a warm inviting teacher lounge with new paint and furnishings. Now the teachers have a place where they can relax and synergize. “RED Day just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture. We see a need, discover who can meet it and get it done,” said Worthen.
