La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses’ annual fundraising gala, “An Evening of Wine and Roses,” will take place Sunday, Nov. 5, at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club. LCF Mayor Michael Davitt will act as emcee, introducing the 2018 Rose Queen and her Royal Court, who will mingle with guests during the cocktail hour.
Festivities include a no-host bar, appetizers, salad, entrée duo of chicken and sea bass with vegetables, dessert, and white or red wine with dinner. Also, guests may bid on an array of silent auction items, buy opportunity tickets to win $1,000 cash at $10 each, and start early Christmas shopping from a display of Floatique collectibles. Complimentary valet parking is included, along with music by Ernie Hernandez Jr.
Cost for the evening is $85 per person; to reserve and/or donate, visit lcftra.org. Proceeds from the event will be used toward building and decorating LCFTRA’s 2018 Rose Parade float, Panda-Monium. Anyone over the age of 21 is invited to attend.
