LCUSD Board Candidates Forum on Oct. 2

The five candidates running for the La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board election are expected to participate in a public forum at the La Cañada High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2.
The forum is being hosted by the La Cañada Council PTA and the League of Women Voters-Pasadena Area.
The public is invited to attend the event, at which audience members will hear prepared statements from the candidates and have the opportunity to submit written questions.
The League of Women Voters is dedicated to making democracy work by offering services to communities with the purpose of informing and encouraging voters to take advantage of their right to vote.
As a non-partisan organization, the La Cañada Council PTA neither supports nor opposes candidates. It does, however, aim to help disseminate as much factual, objective information as possible during election campaigns so voters can make informed choices on issues that affect the community’s children.
