The doctors and staff at Linden Optometry are taking part in the World Sight Day Challenge to help give the gift of vision to people in underserved communities around the world. The team will hold several bake sales, featuring eyeball cookies and eyeball muffins, to raise money for World Sight Day, today. All funds raised from bake sales will be used to support vision care programs throughout the world, including “Our Children’s Vision.”
“We are concerned about people around the world who lack access to the quality eye care, which we often take for granted,” said Alan Limfat, president of Linden Optometry. “On World Sight Day, Linden Optometry will match all of the funds collected from the bake sales as well as from donation boxes in our facility. We look forward to your support as we help to raise urgently needed funds for this great cause.”
The office is at 477 E. Colorado Blvd. For more information, visit GivingSight.org.
