Mayfield Senior Parents Enjoy ‘Moroccan Nights’

Guests at Mayfield Senior School’s recent benefit enjoyed mingling in the glow of magical lights under the multi-colored fabric of a Moroccan tent. Students from Mayfield’s Conservatory for the Arts program graced the evening with instrumental music and delighted guests with a fun belly-dancing performance.
After a Moroccan feast, the live auction ended with a record-breaking paddle raise to fund a new air conditioning system and floor restoration for the school’s gym. By the end of the night, the school’s generous supporters had raised more money than any previous annual benefit.
The benefit was spearheaded by Chelisa Vagim, chair; Becky Sarni and Ruth Pasqualetto, auction chairs; Laurie Yockey and Andrea Zaninovich Bland, advertising chairs; and Cheryl Smith, Rebecca Pottmeyer Reed and Lisa Weithas, decoration chairs.
