Mayfield Senior School of the Holy Child Jesus recently conferred 89 diplomas on members of the class of 2019, young women whom Head of School Kate Morin described as “a blessing beyond measure.”
“Together we learned what it means to be a part of a Holy Child community,” Morin told graduates and 1,500 guests gathered at the Pasadena campus. “Together we learned about the transformational power of service, how to speak truth to power, to listen to different points of view. … Together we learned how to be confident and courageous.”
The graduates will attend 55 colleges and universities, including Barnard, Dartmouth, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal State Fullerton, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Lewis & Clark, Loyola Marymount, Pasadena City College, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
