Mothers’ Club to Host Power of Two Dinner March 16

Mothers’ Club will host its annual Power of Two Dinner on Thursday, March 16, at 6 p.m. at Descanso Gardens. The dinner is a fundraiser that provides comprehensive two-generation learning programs to more than 100 low-income families each day. Power of Two is a unique approach of simultaneously educating parent and child so that the entire family can succeed in school and in life.
Mothers’ Club will honor Fran Norris Scoble, who will be accepting this year’s Power of Two Award. Scoble has been an influential leader at Mothers’ Club for more than three decades, lending her skills and expertise to guide the strategic planning process and promote the organization. She served as a community advisor while head of Westridge School and was a member of the board of directors for seven years, including two years as president.
Patina will cater the four-course dinner, with beer and wine included. Tickets are $200 per person and a table for eight can be reserved for $1,500. Visit mothersclub.org for more information or to purchase tickets, call (626) 792-2687, ext. 112.
