Old Pasadena Summer Cinema returns in July with 19 free movie screenings in unique locations throughout historic Old Pasadena. New this year: Three themed nights at Central Park, featuring special activities starting at 6:30 p.m. and a movie under the stars at 8:30 p.m.
Date Night, Saturday July 8: “The Sting” (1973) PG. Live ragtime music, swing dance lessons and a themed photo booth.
Family Night, Saturday July 15: “Wreck-It Ralph” (2012) PG. A free video arcade with Neon Retro Arcade, costumed movie characters, superhero face painting and free frozen goodies from Kona Ice.
Ladies’ Night, Saturday July 22: “Mamma Mia” (2007) PG-13. Free henna tattoos and hair braiding, hustle dance lessons and an ABBA-inspired DJ.
