The USC Pacific Asia Museum recently hosted its annual fundraiser gala, celebrating fashion, art and music at the historic Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. This year, Legacy Award recipient, long-time philanthropist Mei-Lee Ney, and Visionary Artist Award recipient, fashion designer Vivienne Hu, were honored.
Musical guest Katherine Ho performed her Mandarin version of the Coldplay song “Yellow” that was featured on the soundtrack of the movie “Crazy Rich Asians.” USC PAM celebrity ambassadors Hudson Yang, Ian Chen and Forrest Wheeler from ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat” returned to assist with the paddle auction. Auction highlights were Vivienne Hu couture dresses and Asian art and antiques. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the USC Pacific Asia Museum operations and arts programming.
