Pacific Oaks Children’s School hosted its annual Parent Association Spring Benefit “Vivir con Amor” last week to benefit the school’s scholarship fund. Set with a Spanish Mediterranean ambience with tapas, sangria and paella served, the school community gathered to uphold the principles on which the school was founded — that of inclusion, social justice and the belief that every human being has the potential and the right to learn and thrive. Spring benefit co-chairs were Eliz Lee and Melanie Pendergast and Pacific Oaks Parent Association President co-chairs are Karen Chou and Emily Miller Karlekar.
