Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA’s 19th annual Doglegs, Birdies and Eagles Golf Tournament and Celebration Dinner teed off recently at a local golf club in Pasadena. The tournament raised nearly $175,000 to help care for the more than 11,000 homeless, stray and abandoned pets cared for by the organization each year. The event was hosted by La Cañada Flintridge residents and longtime supporters Nancy and Al Plamann. Golfers enjoyed a full 18 holes on a pristine course. As the sun began to set, golfers and guests were treated to a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and a delicious dinner. Furry friends were on hand to greet attendees.
