The Pasadena City College Foundation hosted its second in a series of Hometown Legends, “The Art of Business and the Business of Art,” featuring local entrepreneur and philanthropist Robert “Bob” Davidson Jr.
The presentation was an interview of Davidson by PCC Dean of Visual Arts and Media Studies, Joseph Futtner. Davidson shared stories of his upbringing in the South, his early days as a budding entrepreneur and about his love of art and the qualities he looks for in selecting art for his own personal collection. His No. 1 qualification: “Does my wife like it, too?”
Davidson was selected as a Hometown Legend for his career success, his leadership on local nonprofit and for-profit boards, and his philanthropy toward art and education.
