The Pasadena Educational Foundation recently presented more than $200,000 to 190 Pasadena Unified School District teachers and principals at the 42nd annual Teacher Grants Reception. PEF Teacher Grants are made possible with support from the College Football Playoff Foundation, Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association and the generous support of the community.
This year’s grants support a diverse and vibrant array of educational projects such as an outdoor amphitheater, makerspace, science labs, books in French, garden murals, a news set for live TV productions, robotics, and materials for a joint project in photography and physics. PEF Teacher Grants program benefits thousands of students in Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre.
