The Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation kicks off the summer with its first fundraiser of the year: the 27th annual Charity Wine Tasting and Auction Event. The event is from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at the home of John Fairbanks and Ray Hayes in Altadena. Proceeds will benefit local charities and student scholarships.
Attendees will partake in a silent and live auction, and participate in a wine toss and other surprises and giveaways. Guests will enjoy wine, champagne and hors d’oeuvres.
“Each year the Charitable Foundation works to improve our events with the sole purpose of having more to give to local charities each year,” said Foundation chair Deborah Maxson. “The PFAR Charitable Foundation is 100% volunteers who do all these events because it is our duty to help our community. We have been fortunate enough to get positive feedback from our charities, and I know that is what keeps each of us working so hard each year.”
