St. Philip the Apostle School recently hosted the Red Tie Ball, its largest annual fundraiser, at Castaway in Burbank. Co-chairs Kathleen Green and Shoshana Puccia and a long list of volunteers put on an enjoyable event that included a live auction featuring exclusive experiences and luxury vacations.
A highlight of the evening was the school video featuring every St. Philip student. A paddle raise for the Father Joe Moniz Educational Fund raised more than $60,000 to support tuition assistance as well as all students’ educational needs. The DJ kept the party going and everyone danced the night away.
Honoring volunteers, the PTO presented the Elizabeth A. Mahoney Leadership Award to Lisa and Ed Morales, the Monsignor J. Clifford Parker Service Award to Tina Alietti, the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award to Vince Anido, Ty Mapp, Natalie O’Connor and Jennifer Richard, and the St. Philip the Apostle Legacy Award to Lois Hankins and Chris McNatt.
