SEIA Helps Highlight Business of Football

The Pasadena office of Signature Estate & Investment Advisors recently hosted an event at the Rose Bowl for its clients and other professional associates.
The focus of the event was the “Business of College Football” from a player’s perspective.
Fritz Miller, a partner at SEIA’s Pasadena office, served as host while former UCLA football stars Marcedes Lewis and Wayne Cook entertained guests with stories of their playing experiences. Both talked about how special the Rose Bowl is — for the players and the sport.
Lewis, one of the most highly regarded tight ends in UCLA history, reflected on his rise from humble beginnings to the NFL. Lewis, who was a longtime member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, recently joined the Green Bay Packers. He shared his perspective on injuries and the importance of scholarships as well as his business success away from football.
Former quarterback Cook served as the moderator and also shared inspiring stories.
Miller was accompanied by Dedan Brozino, director of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, in highlighting recent events at the stadium (including Taylor Swift concerts and international soccer) and the importance of keeping the Rose Bowl vital.
