Showcase House Accepting Applications for Grants

Musical theater, school marching bands, youth symphony programs and music therapy are just some of the nonprofit organizations that have benefitted from gifts and grants from the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts. President Marilyn Anderson has announced that applications for gifts and grants are now available at PasadenaShowcase.org. The deadline for submitting an application is Friday, Oct. 6.
Last May, PSHA awarded $590,000 to 63 local and regional nonprofit organizations and schools. The proceeds from the 2016 Showcase House enabled the organization to continue its legacy of funding music programs throughout the community. During its 69-year history, PSHA has donated more than $21 million to outstanding organizations that enrich the lives of countless people and support the arts throughout the community.
Each year, PSHA awards gifts and grants to a diverse list of local and regional nonprofit organizations in support of their community-based and direct-service efforts to ensure that the joy of music is available to a broad range of audiences. Additionally, PSHA has a longstanding history of supporting the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its community outreach programs.
