Give-Mentor-Love Benefit Fights Trafficking

The fight against human trafficking requires special energy and devotion, so the nonprofit Give-Mentor-Love Foundation’s “Superhero” benefit on Saturday night at a private location in Pasadena was especially well named. The event raised money to help not only sexually exploited children but also youths and adults who are in crisis, experiencing homelessness or living in foster care. Paul Rusnak of the Rusnak Auto Group was the honorary chair of the event that featured a cocktail reception, dinner provided by Bistro 45, auction and band. Donna Pierson is the creator of the foundation, whose volunteers include local career women from all walks of life. The organization partners with Los Angeles County, Learning Works and Victor Treatment Center.
