The Pasadena Educational Foundation recently held a luncheon at the Altadena Town and Country Club to celebrate its 14th annual Principal for a Day event. Earlier, 33 noted community members spent the morning serving as guest principals at the Pasadena Unified School District’s various campuses, the better to build lasting relationships uniting schools, businesses and the wider community. PEF Executive Director Patrick Conyers spoke to approximately 120 luncheon guests about his organization’s contributions, and a keynote address was offered by respected anchorwoman, producer and journalist Val Zavala.
