With chilly temperatures outside, it was the perfect time for 2nd-grade families in Karen Gilmour’s class at La Cañada Elementary School to have a cozy reading night. Wearing their pajamas, the students selected their favorite book in the classroom to read with their parents. They also made bookmarks and enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate.
