La Cañada Elementary recently hosted a new-family social for incoming parents and children. Principal Emily Blaney welcomed everyone before tours of the school were conducted. One of the tour guides was LCE PTA President Brooke Niemiec. Children had the opportunity to meet other children in their grade level. Parents and children were then treated to cookies and watermelon.
