LCE 1st-Graders Visit Descanso Gardens for Nature Class

First-graders at La Cañada Elementary School recently took a field trip to Descanso Gardens after finishing a lesson on different parts of nature. Divided into groups and assisted by parents, students worked to find certain bugs, plants, trees and birds, as well as make tree bark rubbings. They logged in their findings and answered questions. They all agreed it was a beautiful day in the gardens.
