The 18th annual SoCal Women’s Conference drew about 2,000 people to the Hilton Pasadena last week. The day was filled with entertainment and speakers, whose topics touched on health, beauty and the empowerment of women. Lena Kennedy is the event’s CEO and co-founder, along with Samella Yarbrough. Lisa Stevens served as the emcee and conference co-chair. Congresswoman Judy Chu was the luncheon keynote speaker and Sheila Grether-Marion was also a luncheon speaker. Meanwhile, the gentlemen in attendance were treated to “The Man Cave” and a variety of speakers.
