The St. Francis High School Mothers’ Guild hosts an annual Mothers’ Spring Brunch to wish all of its outgoing seniors’ moms well, recognize them for their contributions to the school, and thank them for sending their sons to SFHS. The event also serves as a welcome to all incoming freshman mothers. This year there were more than 200 mothers in attendance on Saturday in the Norman Family Courtyard.
As the mothers checked in, the St. Francis drumline greeted them, there were raffle items, a special snippet from “Fiddler on the Roof,” and several students shared their experiences and memories of their time at the school. Mothers were served brunch by their sons. Senior moms and female guardians were also given a rose as a token of their sons’ love and appreciation.
Mothers’ Guild co-Presidents Angela Konrad and Cecie Molina served as the emcees for the event and coordinated the festivities.
Mothers Jennie Vanacore and Hilda Hernandez co-chaired this year’s Mothers’ Spring Brunch.
