About 100 board and former board members, senior staff, supporters and guests gathered recently at the Rococo Room in Pasadena for Five Acres’ Annual Meeting, where the organization celebrated 129 years of service to children and families.
Four board members were acknowledged as they completed their service: Brad Reaume, Ted Cosse, Michele Hall and Mariann Nolan. Three new board members were welcomed: Celeste Liversidge, Scott Street and Erica Tejeda.
And awards were presented to distinguished individuals and organizations for their support. They included: Robert Ketch, Dorothy Cook Lifetime Achievement; Bill Hayden and the William R. & Virginia Hayden Foundation, special recognition; Michele Hall; volunteer of the year; Casey Adams, person of the year; Pasadena Community Foundation, special service to children; Lorraine and Brad Reaume and the Reaume Family, Five Acres Award; Will Nash and Graham Nash (of Crosby & Nash), outstanding support; William Shennum, commitment to service; and Tim and Veronica Kellar, special friends of the year.
