The annual Gourmet Garden Party to benefit the Convalescent Aid Society will take place on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 4-7 p.m. at Castle Green. The event will include delicious food donated from top restaurants in Pasadena as well as an opportunity drawing with some wonderful prizes including Tournament of Roses parade and game seats and a table at the Pasadena Pops.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Moorish, Spanish and Victorian elements of the grounds and portions of the interior of the iconic Castle Green.
The Convalescent Aid Society began in 1923 and continues to provide the free loan of durable medical equipment for in-home use by clients.

Friends In Deed’s ‘Jazz on the Green’ Concert Sept. 27

Friends In Deed returns for its annual fundraiser, Jazz on the Green, on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Castle Green in Pasadena. From 5:30-8:30 p.m., guests will experience the smooth sounds of jazz. There will also be a silent auction.
Friends In Deed, an interfaith nonprofit organization, meets many needs of the most vulnerable residents of greater Pasadena — homeless and at-risk individuals including women and children.
