Tree Planted for Chinese Arbor Day

City officials and Chinese Club of San Marino members planted a tree on Monday in the Huntington Drive median across from Noodle World in honor of Chinese Arbor Day. The Chinese Club routinely donates trees for the city to plant in observance of the holiday, which is March 12 and in the memory of Dr. Sun Yet San, the founder of the original Republic of China.
