The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ swimming and diving team won its first Division 2 championship since 2009.

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ swimming team dominated the CIF Southern Section Division 2 championships at the Riverside Aquatics Complex and claimed its first title since 2009.

Lin Qualifies for State; Girls Place 14th in Standings

The San Marino High School varsity boys’ swimming team shone in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Championships at the Riverside Aquatics Complex last Saturday, tying Murrieta Valley for sixth place with 145 points.
Rio Hondo League rival La Cañada took home the crown with 336 points.
Tristan Lin led the Titans by winning the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1 minute, 48.72 seconds, qualifying him for state competition.
Lin was also part of the 200 medley relay team that placed sixth and qualified for state with a time of 1:35.82. The group also included Maxwell Lin, Justin Chan and Kurtis Tsai.
