The Circle of Friends is planning a “Kidspace Adventure”-themed benefit for Saturday, Feb. 3, to support Kidspace Children’s Museum. The benefit will be held at a local private club where guests will be treated to dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction.
“We aim to celebrate Kidspace with a fantastic event and raise money for all the Kidspace initiatives,” said Circle of Friends President Jennifer Kennedy. “The benefit chairs, Stacy Armillei and Amy Hasquet, and their dedicated team have done a great job on planning this year’s exciting evening. With live and silent auction items, one of a kind entertainment, and incredible patron and community support, it truly is the best party of the year.”
“It is our hope that we raise much-needed funds to support the museum in its goal to bring educational services and activities to all children in our community,” said event co-chair Amy Hasquet.
Committee chairs are Debbie Barsom, Marissa Bell, Karen Chou, Kimberly Church, Jennifer Etienne, Anna Hasbun, Tess Henderson, Neha Jesperson, Shelly Lapsi, Katy Lukes, Allison Maginn, Brandi Mathisen and Christina Trauber.
Live auction items include travel packages to Hawaii, Deer Valley, Cabo, Paris, Palm Springs as well as Italy. In addition, there are concert tickets in the auction to Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion. There are opportunities to ride on the Goodyear Blimp and a California Speedway Experience.
Raffle tickets will be sold with chances to win either custom-designed diamond and sapphire earrings or a two-night stay at the Palmilla Resort in Cabo San Lucas.
