A year ago we could never have imagined the challenges that were ahead of us as a medical center and as a community. It has been an unprecedented time to work in health care.
I am incredibly proud of the caregivers and providers at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center for their unwavering dedication to care for and ease the way for every patient that came through our doors.
We are fortunate at Providence Saint Joseph to have the space for separate, dedicated units to treat COVID-19 patients. In addition, we have advanced technology and an exceptional clinical team at Saint Joseph’s caring for our COVID-19 patients, and that has led to some amazing outcomes for our patients.

Huntington Hospital Again Honored by Healthgrades

Huntington Hospital is one of America’s 100 best hospitals for cardiac care and coronary intervention, according to new research released by Healthgrades, a leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems.
Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 32 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions using Medicare data, and outcomes in appendectomy and bariatric surgery using all-payer data provided by 16 states.

Huntington Hospital a 5-Star Recipient for Stroke Treatment

Huntington Hospital has achieved five stars for its performance in stroke care from Healthgrades, a leading online resource helping consumers make informed decisions to find the right doctor and the right hospital for the right care. This achievement is part of the new findings and data released by Healthgrades and is featured in the Healthgrades 2017 Report to the Nation. Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 34 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions.
