After a hot first day of school, Valentine Elementary School welcomed back students and their families for a new-school-year ice cream social. The well-attended event took place on campus with students crowding the playground and parents casually socializing and welcoming new families to the Valentine community. Co-chairs were Sarah Rome and Kate Sinclair.
