Why See the ‘Four Seasons’ — Again?

The Salastina Music Society will present Vivaldi’s beloved classic that depicts nature. He wrote poems to accompany his musical depictions of the seasons.
Fall depicts a drunken Bacchanale, with revelers stumbling over each other. Winter depicts the supreme coziness of sitting by a fire as raindrops fell on the roof overhead.
Spring depicts dogs barking in the distance as a shepherd sleeps. Summer depicts the languor of oppressive heat and humidity.
The concert is Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Conservatory, 100 N. Hill Ave. Tickets are $32 in advance, $40 at the door, and $10 for students. For more information, visit salastina.org.
