The Pasadena City College Foundation recently held its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Reception at Sexson Auditorium. More than 200 students were in attendance to receive scholastic and need-based scholarship awards. Donors, students’ families and friends, the PCC Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, and members of the Foundation Board of Directors were in attendance. Four students received top honors from the Robert and Adrienne Scholarship, the “Reviewer’s Choice Award,” including Waffa Abu-Hajar, Kody and Melissa Corduan, and Christina Mu. The audience was treated to a keynote address from three PCC alumni: Don Leis, Don Martinez and LaVaughn Johns. The ceremony was followed by a lovely outdoor reception where scholars and donors could connect with each other.
