The philanthropic organization Young & Healthy, which facilitates free health care to disadvantaged children, held its annual gala recently at H Studio in Sun Valley. The tropical-themed event, “Making Waves With Young & Healthy,” honored Dr. Charles and Rene Korth with the J. Donald Thomas Award, and Dr. Sonia Singla with the Alliance Award. These recognitions are given to those whose dedication, perseverance and selfless devotion to the well-being of children exemplifies the spirit that led to the founding of Young & Healthy more than 27 years ago. Sandy Roberts served as the gala chair.
