Pasadena’s Walter Hoving Home recently hosted its annual Backyard Barbecue, which included a silent auction followed by dinner provided by Steve’s Pit Barbecue. Guests were entertained with live music by Conner Smith and the Living Water Singers, in addition to the home’s “Sounds of Joy” choir. Walter Hoving Home is a residential spiritually-based home, helping women to recover from life-controlling problems such as drug addiction, alcoholism or prostitution.
