The Pasadena Police Activities League recently held its 16th annual Golden Badge Awards Dinner at Noor. This year’s Golden Badge Awards, “The Magic of Motown,” celebrated the continued successes of PAL while honoring Abel Ramirez of El Portal and Sindee Riboli of Sharp Seating with the Golden Badge Award for their commitment to supporting the youth of Pasadena. Officer Roxanne Haines received a PAL Service Award in recognition of her service, presented by Michelle Hernandez, a PAL kid who she mentored. Officer Haines was also a PAL kid, before becoming an officer and eventually the director of PAL.
