Polytechnic School’s Cub Scouts Troop 5 celebrated its Blue and Gold Ceremony recently. The ceremony marks the successful end of each den’s Cub Scout year. In 3rd grade, the Scouts completed their Bear Trail and Bobcat badges. In 4th grade, the Scouts completed their first year of Webelos, earning five pins. The 5th grade completed their second year of Webelos and bridged to Boy Scouts. Six of the boys in 5th grade earned their Arrow of Light award. This is the only badge earned in the Cub Scout years that can be carried over to the Boy Scout uniform.
