Pasadena Educational Foundation held its annual spring event “Celebrating Our Schools –– Breakthrough 2018” last week in the courtyard of Pasadena City Hall. USC educator Andrea Armani was the keynote speaker and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association was honored for its support of Pasadena Unified School District schools. The evening also included an interactive student showcase highlighting PUSD’s innovative programs. Celebrating Our Schools is sponsored by individual and business patrons throughout the community. Contributions support the work of PEF supporting the priorities and initiatives of the PUSD, and helps PEF provide award-winning art programs, summer school and cutting-edge classroom technology.
