The Pasadena Educational Foundation recently held its annual Pasadena Unified Principal for a Day. More than 30 local business and civic leaders spent the morning shadowing a PUSD school principal, giving them a rare and valuable perspective on running a public school.
After the morning on campus, the 2018 class of “Principal for a Day” graduates gathered for a luncheon at Altadena Town & Country Club to meet other principals and community leaders to share their experiences. Investment banker and advocate for public education Keith Russell served as this year’s keynote speaker.
